How do I add locations to my itinerary?

You can add locations in two ways:

Search
• Use the search bar
• Select a place
• Tap Add to Itinerary

From the Map
• Long press anywhere on the map
• Select a nearby place or exact coordinates
• Add notes or photos if needed

Can I reorder stops in my trip?

Yes. Simply drag locations up or down within your itinerary. Mapsiti will recalculate distances and travel times accordingly.

How does syncing work?

Mapsiti uses iCloud to automatically sync your itineraries across your Apple devices as long as you have the premium subscription.
To ensure sync works:
• Be signed in to iCloud
• Enable iCloud Drive
• Turn on sync in Settings

How do I share an itinerary?

Once you have the premium subscription:
1. Open your itinerary
2. Tap the Share button
3. Choose viewing or editing permissions
4. Send via Messages, Email, or AirDrop
Recipients can join using their Apple ID.

How do I calculate routes between locations?

1. Open your itinerary

2. Choose your transport mode (car, walking, transit)

3. Tap Calculate Routes

You can drag and reorder locations to optimize the route.

Why can’t I share or accept invitations?

Make sure:
• You have the premium subscription
• Your iCloud account is active
• Notifications are enabled
• The recipient is signed into iCloud
If needed, resend the invitation.

1. Getting Started

First Launch Setup

To get the best experience:

1. Sign in to iCloud to enable automatic syncing.

2. Allow location access to see your current position.

3. Enable notifications to receive sharing invitations.

2. Creating an Itinerary

Create a New Trip

1. Tap the “+” button.

2. Enter a name for your trip.

3. Add notes if needed.

4. Tap “Create.”

Edit a Trip

Open the itinerary, tap “Edit,” update details, and save.

3. Adding Locations

Search for a Place

1. Use the search bar.

2. Select a result.

3. Tap “Add to Itinerary.”

Add from the Map

1. Long press on the map.

2. Select a location or coordinates.

3. Add notes or photos if desired.

4. Managing Routes

Calculate Directions

1. Choose your transport mode.

2. Tap “Calculate Routes.”

3. Drag locations to reorder and optimize.

Route Preferences

• Enable Auto-Calculate in Settings.

• Set your default transport mode.

5. Sharing Itineraries

Share a Trip

1. Open the itinerary.

2. Tap “Share.”

3. Choose view-only or editing access.

4. Send the link.

Recipients join using their Apple ID.
